1. Who we are

Smartifai Pte Ltd is a Singapore-registered company providing smart home products and solutions, with installation arranged through professional partners. Our address is 33 Ubi Avenue 3, #02-31 Vertex Tower A, Singapore 408868.

This Privacy Policy is issued in compliance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 (PDPA) of Singapore.

2. What data we collect

We collect the following personal data, but only when you provide it to us or when it is necessary for our services:

• → Contact information: your name, phone number, email address and WhatsApp number
• → Property information: the address of the property where we will provide installation, type of property (HDB, condo, landed), floor plans you share with us, and details of the rooms or features you want to automate
• → Site photos: photos of your home taken during site assessments or after installation, which we use to plan your project and (with your permission) for case studies, reviews or marketing
• → Communication records: WhatsApp chats, emails and call notes related to your enquiry or project
• → Website analytics: when you visit smartifai.sg, our analytics tools collect non-identifying technical data including IP address, browser type, device type, pages viewed, and how you arrived at our site

We do not collect: NRIC numbers, financial account numbers, passwords, or other highly sensitive personal data. If we ever need this for a specific purpose (e.g. tax invoicing for businesses), we will tell you and ask separately.

3. How we use your data

We use your personal data only for these purposes:

• → Scheduling and performing site visits and installations

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your contact details with marketing companies, data brokers, or other organisations for their own marketing purposes.

5. Photos of your home

During site assessments and after installations, we may take photos of your home. We use these photos for:

• → Planning your installation (wiring layout, device placement)
• → Internal records and warranty documentation
• → Case studies, social media posts or website content — only with your consent

When we use photos publicly, we will not include your name, address or anything that personally identifies you, unless you specifically agree. If you want us to remove a photo from our website or social media at any time, email us and we will remove it.

6. Cookies and tracking

Our website uses the following analytics and tracking tools:

• → Google Analytics: helps us understand how visitors use smartifai.sg (which pages are popular, how long people stay, where they come from). Data is processed by Google. Google Privacy Policy

7. How we protect your data

8. How long we keep your data

We keep your personal data only as long as needed:

• → Active customers: for the duration of your project and warranty period, plus any time needed for aftercare or future expansion
• → Enquiries that did not become projects: typically up to 12 months in case you return
• → Tax and accounting records: at least 5 years, as required by Singapore tax law

When data is no longer needed and we are not legally required to keep it, we securely delete or anonymise it.

9. Your rights under PDPA

Under Singapore's PDPA, you have the right to:

• → Correct your data: ask us to update or fix inaccurate information
• → Withdraw consent: ask us to stop processing your data for marketing or other non-essential purposes

11. Complaints

If you have a concern about how we handle your personal data, please contact us first at support@smartifai.sg. We will work to resolve it.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can lodge a complaint with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Commission (PDPC) at pdpc.gov.sg.

Our website may link to third-party websites (manufacturers, partner brands, social media, payment processors). This Privacy Policy applies only to smartifai.sg. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of websites we link to — please review their policies separately.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes affecting how we use your data, we will also notify you by email if we have your contact details.
